Our El Verso cigars are very popular in western Pennsylvania and especially in the city of Pittsburgh. Our Hauptmann cigars are known by many veteran cigar smokers as "the cigar of St. Louis". And the R.G. Dun label (which originated in Detroit, Michigan, then made in Lima, Ohio by DWG and later produced by R.G. Dun Company) is enjoyed by many smokers in the state of Ohio. The Ibold label is very popular in the city of Cincinnati, where the original Ibold Company was located. Many of our loyal cigar smokers wonder why every cigar smoker in America has not experienced the pleasure of smoking one of our cigars. The reason is the simple fact that we have advertised and distributed primarily in the Midwestern states, including some adjoining states. Advertising is costly to a small company.
Thanks to the Internet window, we are now able to tell the whole country about our family owned operation. We appreciate you taking the time to stop in here and read about us. Please return to this site again and tell your cigar smoking friends to visit our home page. Look over our listing of National Cigar brands for a look at our cigars and sizes.
Talk to your local retailer about having them carry our cigars. If you cannot find a retailer near you who handles our cigars, contact us and we will see that you do not miss out on the opportunity to experience GREAT CIGARS FOR THE PRICE.
National Cigar Corporation is the last of the Midwest cigar manufacturers. At one time, H. Fendrich Company operated out of Evansville, Indiana making La Fendrich cigars (a cigar now produced and distributed by National Cigar). Ibold Cigar Company in Cincinnati, Ohio made the Ibold cigars (acquired by R. G. Dun and now made by National Cigar). All of these Midwest cigar makers are gone, but the brand labels continue to live on.
A big THANK YOU to all our loyal cigar smokers through the years who have demanded access to our cigars and made our existence possible. And THANKS to our distributors and retailers for their part in making our brands available to the cigar smokers of America.
