It is with great sorrow that we announce that Mel passed away on October 14th, 1999. He was a friendly and kind man and will be remembered for many years by those whose lives he touched.

Mel knew many people in the cigar industry and was a great representative manager for National Cigar Corporation. He had a great appreciation for the people he worked with and his customers whom he worked for. And Mel always showed that appreciation in his every gesture.

Mel Meinhardt was very knowledgeable of our industry and made many friends doing what he loved to do . . . SELL CIGARS. We will all greatly miss him; especially his family, who had the privilege of personally knowing him for so many years. We feel so very fortunate to have known this man.
